Your customer then pays you to solve their problem. That’s all there is to it in the big picture. Your potential customers have a problem and they will pay to get tha problem solved. You offer a solution that brings value because the customer no longer has to deal with the problem. If you understand this simple idea then you can make money fast on the internet.

Let’s explain this with a few examples. In grocery store the customer is hungry and the grocer provides food to solve that problem which the shopper buys. At a gas station the customer needs gas to drive the car and the station sells that gas. Problem-no gasoline, solution-sell gasoline. With an online book store the customer wants to read stories or learn some information. The bookstore owner solves that problem by offering a selection of books which fulfill the reader’s wants. These are all basic problem/solution examples.

This is how all businesses work. Can you name a business that doesn’t? Whenever there is money changing hands in a business environment there is problem that needs a solution. This relationship must be evident if you want a successful business. This knowledge is the basis for everything you do in your online business opportunity. You need to understand what the problem is in order to be effective. Otherwise everything you do is just a shot in the dark.

The solution you offer must drive your marketing because the only reason people will give you money is if it is in their best interest. They expect to get something in return. The problem and solution also must drive your product selection. How can you know what to offer for sale if you don’t know what your customers are hungry for? Lastly, the solution drives how you will interact with the customer. If you are a carpet cleaner your interaction will be face to face, if you are an internet marketer the interaction will be on the web.
